From 9-5 office to the kitchen
My name is Hailey. While working in NGO and ecommerce for almost 10 years, I'd been baking as a hobby — until it became a full-time job, all while taking care of my daughter.
I started baking for friends and family in 2021 — what began quietly quickly found an audience. People kept asking: “Can I order one for my birthday?” Eventually, the answer became yes.
Danine Cakes is now a full-time studio operating from Streatham, serving customers across South and Central London. Every cake is still made by hand, the same way it always was — because that's the only way I know how to do it properly.

How to order & where to collect
Ordering from Danine Cakes is simple: fill out our order form with your occasion, preferred flavour, and design ideas, and we'll come back to you within 24 hours with a personalised quote. We ask for at least five days' notice for most orders, and four to six weeks for wedding cakes or complex multi-tier designs.
We have two collection points in South London: Streatham Common (our primary studio, SW16) and Wimbledon Chase (SW20). We also deliver across all London boroughs — delivery charges are based on distance and date and confirmed at the point of booking.
We regularly serve customers across Streatham, Brixton, Clapham, Balham, Tooting, Wimbledon, Dulwich, Peckham, Crystal Palace, and Norwood. Danine Cakes holds a Food Hygiene Rating of 5/5 (Very Good), awarded by the London Borough of Lambeth in December 2025.
